Graduate School Deadlines for Degree Completion
The deadlines for depositing theses/dissertations and for filing all Recommendations to Award degree paperwork with the Graduate School are established as shown below. If these deadlines are not met, students must register in the next semester and receive their degrees at the end of that semester.
Compliance with the Declaration of Candidacy dates is strongly recommended to allow for timely completion of degree paperwork by the Graduate School and individual programs.
- Summer Semesters: 6 working days before conferral of degrees;
- Fall Semesters: 6 working days before conferral of degrees;
- Spring Semesters: Dissertations/Thesis: 10 working days before Commencement;
- Spring Semesters: Recommendation Forms: 6 working days before Commencement
